Nude hike on the Harz Naturist Trail, June 23, 2019

Members arrived on Friday and Saturday to probe the situation. The situation was even more difficult than expected. The official naturist climb is not accessible from the official access due to a large construction site and so we wanted to start hiking from the campsite in Dankerode anyway, but that too turned out to be rather impractical. So we quickly agreed on a new starting point to which we had to guide those arriving on Sunday. This and the general traffic situation delayed the start by approx. 90 minutes.
When we finally got together, we started the hike and soon had to fight with other obstacles, because the damage from the storms of 2018 and 2019 has not yet been completely remedied and so we had to cross trees and fall below them, which made the hike one Obstacle course to be let. We then left the official naturist climb after about an hour and hiked over the dam to continue the hike on the other bank. At a bathing spot, some took a refreshing bath. Afterwards we continued the hike and went again on paths of the naturist climb and this time also on those that had been cleared of fallen trees. After about four hours we reached the starting point again.
At the end there was a joint strengthening at the Gasthaus in Dankerode. While some returned to Berlin on the same day, others took the opportunity to explore the Harz with the narrow-gauge railway.
